4. Perform and describe how to turn on the camera?
While pressing lock release, turn power to on
5. Perform and describe how to insert a Mini DV Tape?
Slide eject switch in proper direction, cassette holder opens automatically, insert tape as instructed.
6. Describe how to start shooting.
Look at subject through view finder, press start/stop button to start shooting
7. Describe and perform how to Eject the tape.
slide eject button in proper direction, wait for holder to fully open, take the tape out
8. Perform and describe how to attach and detach the battery.
to attach, lift view finder then push down battery until it clicks into place, return view finder to original position. to detach turn power off, lift view finder, press battery release button, then remove it.
9. Describe how to shoot in auto mode.
Set power switch to on, press the auto button to switch to auto mode.
10. What are the shooting techniques for different targets? EXTENSIVE ANSWERS....
Finding specific scenes, low angle shooting, self portrait shooting.
11. How do you adjust the shutter speed? Why adjust the shutter speed?
Everytime you press the shutter button it adjust from normal to whatever you set it to by pressing the speed sel. button. adjust shutter speed to increase/decrease sensativity.
12. How do you adjust the White Balance? Why adjust the White Balance? Perform a white balance.
Through the settings menu. White balance controls the amount of light let through the lens
13. How do you use the built-in microphone? When would you use the built in microphone?
Switch the CH1 SELECT to INT (L). Plug in microphone and select input 1/2
14. How do you connect an external microphone to input 2? How do you change the inputs to input 2? CONNECT an external microphone and test.
15. How do you adjust the recording level? Describe and perform.
Use the audio control knob
16. What are scene files? What scene/s should we shoot in?
Settings according to shooting circumstances. F1: scene
17. How do you playback video? Perform and describe.
Switch camera to VCR mode
